Handrail - Posts-Knee Rails tab

Used to select how to connect the different knee-high guardrails with the posts. Depending on selection, you can describe the connection in a more detailed way by means of further parameters.??

Setting Description
Layout
Allows selecting suitable layout of the knee rails posts connection.
  • Align As Is ? No processing is made.
  • Straight cut ? Divides the knee-high guardrail into individual elements at the outer edges of the posts by means of straight cuts.
  • Complex cut ? Adapts the knee-high guardrail to the post in question by means of two simple diagonal cuts and divides into individual elements.
  • Drill ? Drills the posts at the position of the knee-high guardrails, so that the shapes can run through them as a whole.?
  • Boolean ? Adapts the knee-high guardrails exactly to the posts by means of a boolean cut.
Gap Sets an additional distance between post and knee-high guardrail for cut layouts.
Hole diameter Sets the drill hole diameter in the posts for Drill layout.
