Handrail - Posts-Handrail tab

Used to select how to connect the different handrail posts with the handrail. Depending on selection, you can describe the connection in a more detailed way by means of further parameters.

Setting Description
Layout
Allows selecting suitable layout of the connection.
  • Align As Is ? No processing is made.
  • Straight cut ? Shortens the post up to the lower edge of the handrail.
  • Complex cut ? Adapts the post to the handrail by means of two simple diagonal cuts.
  • With round bar ? Inserts an additional shape between posts and handrail.
  • Boolean ? Adapts the post exactly to the handrail by means of a boolean cut.
Gap Sets an additional distance between post and end of handrail for cut layouts. For round bar layout, this is the length of the rod.
Thickness cover Sets the thickness of an additional round cover plate at the upper edge of the post. Enabled for the round bar layout.
Cover plate diameter Sets the diameter of an additional round cover plate at the upper edge of the post. Enabled for the round bar layout.
