To add a parametric handrail

To add a parametric handrail case to your model, use the following steps.

A handrail is added along an existing smartline.
  1. Select (Handrail).
  2. Select the smartline along which you want to add a handrail.

    The initial handrail is placed in the model Handrail dialog opens.

  3. Complete all of the parametric information on the Handrail dialog.

    Leave the Dynamic option set on the Dimensions tab to see a live preview of the handrail in the model before accepting.

  4. Click (OK).

    The dialog closes and the handrail is updated in the model using the specified parameters.
