Weld Styles - Insert tab

Used to select the weld style, dimensions and to insert weld flags.


Setting Description
Weld Style Sets the style used for displaying the weld seams.
Weld group setting Opens Weld Group Settings dialog where weld groups are managed. Used to weld component parts with each other. Select two parts to be welded. OpenBridge Modeler then creates a weld group with the corresponding weld seams using the specified settings for weld groups.
Level The weld seam is inserted on the selected layer.
Welding thickness ?top side / bottom side Set top/bottom thickness that will override that of current weld style. Sets the value that overwrites the welding thickness of the style to create different thicknesses with identical default settings.
Symbol Scale Indicates the scale used for displaying the inserted weld symbol in the drawing.
Seam Scale Indicates the scale used for displaying the weld seam.
Add weld flag Inserts weld symbols. For this purpose, select the start point of the guideline and the insertion point of the flag.
Add weld Inserts a weld seam. For this purpose, select the start and the end point of the weld seam and the weld seam will be created with the specified style.
Add weld flag to a weld Attaches a weld flag at an existing weld seam. Select an existing weld seam and then specify the insertion position of the weld flag.
Add reference line to a weld Attaches another guideline at a weld flag. First select an existing weld flag and then draw the new reference arrow to its target point.
Add reference line from a weld Removes a subsequently added guideline.
Create weld between two elements/groups Defines the properties of a weld group. Two weld group elements are picked in the drawing.
