Benchmark - Horizontal tab

Used to control the horizontal alignment of the drawing benchmark. It is possible to select either the built-in symbols or external cells.

The display for the alignment symbol for the points of the compass is set here. Beams is valid for horizontal girders and Columns is valid for vertical girders.

Setting Description
End Offset Sets the distance between the insertion point of the symbol and the left resp. lower end of the shape.
Center distance Sets the distance between the insertion point of the symbol and the center of the shape.
Color Sets the color of the symbol as a standard color number.
Symbol When checked, displays the default built-in display types in the select list for assigning a Horizontal benchmark symbol.
  • Symbol selection ? Sets one of the symbols from the list of available symbol display types.
  • Symbol Size ? Sets the size of the symbol display.
Cell When checked, allows assigning horizontal symbol using the external cells, instead of the Symbol display types.
  • Only cells from drawing ? When checked, lists only cells currently available in the drawing. When unchecked, all cells available in the cell path are listed in the Cell selection list.
  • Scale ?Sets the scaling for the cell symbol.
  • Cell Selection ? Lists the cells available in the cell path to be assigned as Horizontal benchmark, or those in the drawing when Only cells from drawing is set.
