Used to enter the settings for the left and right splice.

Description
Longitudinal Spacing - Left / Right
Number of
Shape Direction ? Sets the number of bolts in shape direction at
each side.
Edge
Distance Outside ? Sets the projection of the splices beyond the
last bolt.
Edge
Distance Inside ? Sets the distance from the starting point of the
shape to the first bolt.
Distance
Between ? Sets the inner distance from one bolt to the other.
Transversal Spacing - Left / Right
Number
Transversal ? Sets the number of bolts transversal to the shape
direction.
Edge
Distance Outside ? Sets the distance of the plate beyond the
outmost bolts.
Distance
Between ? For more than 2 bolts in transversal direction, this
value sets the distance from one outer bolt to the other.
Thickness - Left / Right
Thickness ?
Sets the splice plate thickness from the drop-down list. If you have activated
the free selection option, you can enter this value directly.
Vertical
Offset ? Sets offset of the plate to the shape center. The offset
moves the splices in transversal direction to the shape.
Welding
Welding ? When
checked, no bolts and drill holes will be inserted, but the parts will be
welded with each other. Length settings are still valid.
(Edit Style) ? Opens
the Weld Styles dialog, where welding styles are manipulated.
Length ? Sets
the length of the splice to be welded.
As ? Sets the
desired value for the weld thickness, overriding the default weld style
thickness.
Weld
Style ? Indicates the weld style to be used, one selected from the
drop-down list.
