Setting Description
Insertion Angle
  • Angled Insertion ? When checked, stiffeners can be inserted in the shape using a slant. At insertion, you are prompted for a line specifying the direction. The necessary extension of the stiffener width is automatically calculated.
  • Angle ? Enabled for Angled Insertion. Sets the position angle related to the centerline.
2D-Section When checked, an automatic 2D section is inserted directly at the stiffener. This section can be displayed during detailing.

The cutting plane is situated slightly in front of the stiffener and it ends slightly behind the stiffener; the cutting direction is always in shape direction.
