Bent Plates - Append plate tab

Used to create bent plates from existing plates.

Important: The existing plates must have a tangential transition between them.

Note: This is not used for butt straps.

Setting	Description
Radius	Sets the radius of the bend between the two plates.
Inner Radius	When on, the radius value is applied to the inside radius versus the outside.
Delete joining plate	When on, the existing plate is deleted by taking it over into the bent plate.
Unfold Correction Factor	The unfolding is carried out using this correction factor. The correction is multiplied with half of the plate thickness. `K=0` ? Unfolds on the inner radius `K=1` ? Unfolds on the center `K=2` ? Unfolds on the outer radius This correction factor is used for the whole bent plate.

Tip: Please take care that you don?t modify the basic polygon of a plate (e.g., by adding an edge, or similar things) when you have already added segments for a bent plate. The reference edges of the segments would be modified as well and the consequence could be an undesired behavior.
