To place a workframe

To place a new workframe into your 3D model, use the following steps.

  1. Select (Workframe).
    • Click the point of origin.
    • Type the origin coordinate values
    • Click the right mouse button to accept (0,0,0) as the origin (default)
    The Workframe dialog opens.
  2. Indicate the spatial position by specifying the X-axis of the work frame.
    Pressing the right mouse button causes the current UCS X-axis to be accepted as alignment.
  3. Select one of the different work frame types.

Example

With asymmetrical length division

  • L=15000, B=8000,H=5000
  • X-axis: axis 1
  • Y-axis: axis A
  • Z-axis: perpendicular to axis A/1
  • Origin: Axis A/1, Height H=0
