Endplates - Bt. Chord tab

Used to add additional haunches and further stiffeners to each of the previous connections and create a strengthened connection. Bolted knees, etc. can be generated in a relative fast way.

Setting	Description
Select Haunch	Sets the side of bottom chord to set up from two options; Top Haunch ? When checked, the haunch will be created on the upper side of the shape to be connected. Bottom Haunch ? When checked, the haunch will be created on the lower side of the shape to be connected.
Coped Shape	When checked, a coped shape is used as bottom flange haunch instead of a haunch of flat steel or plate. Additional stiffening plates can be inserted for a cropped shape.
Rectangular Plate	When checked, a rectangular plate is inserted as bottom flange haunch. Enabled when Coped Shape is unchecked.
Normal to Column	When checked, a rectangular plate is inserted with the edges parallel to the support. Enabled when Coped Shape is checked.
As Polyplate	When checked, the inserted shapes of the bottom flange haunch are transformed into plates. Enabled when Coped Shape is unchecked.
Stiffener in Support Shape	When checked, in the supporting shape, stiffeners are inserted on the level of the bottom flange haunch. Select the style under Ribs.
Stiffener in Connect Shape	When checked, in the connecting shape, stiffeners are inserted on the level of the bottom flange haunch. Select the style under Ribs.
Haunch Length	Sets the length of the bottom flange haunch.
Cut Width	Sets the width of the bottom flange haunch at the intersection side.
Top Height	Sets the width of the bottom flange haunch at the top side.
Flange Width	Sets the width of the bottom flange haunch flange. Enabled when Coped Shape is unchecked.
Flange Thickness	Sets the flange thickness of the bottom flange haunch. Enabled when Coped Shape is unchecked.
Plate Thickness	Sets the thickness of the web plate of the bottom flange haunch. Enabled when Coped Shape is unchecked.
Facet Size	Sets the chamfer preset at the supporting side of the web plate.
Facet Horizontal	Sets the horizontal component of the chamfer length at the connection side.
Facet Vertical	Sets the vertical component of the chamfer length at the connection side
Supp. Plate Width/Length/Thick	Sets the dimensions of the stiffening plate: Width, Length and Thickness. Enabled when Coped Shape is checked.
Supp. Plate as Poly	When checked, creates the stiffening plate as a polyplate rather than a flat plate.
(Select bottom chord)	Used to select a bottom chord shape for assignment. Opens Identify bottom chord shape dialog, where a desired type/class and size shape is selected.
