To update parts with attributes assigned to the part family:

  1. On the Part Family screen, click to select the part family you want to update.
  2. Click the desired Update Parts tool:
    • Update Assignments for Single Parts
    • Update Assignments for Part Groups
    • Update Assignments for Single Parts and Groups
  3. On your model, click to select the parts to be updated from the part family.
  4. Click OK .
