Adding Mesh to Panels and Walls

To add mesh reinforcing to your panel or wall, use the following procedure.

  1. Do either of the following:
    • select the Mesh Wall/Panel tool

    • select ProStructures > Concrete > Panels and Walls > Mesh Wall/Panel
    • type PC_MESH_WALL and press Return.
    • select the Wall/Panel Reinforcing - Mesh tool

    • select ProStructures > Concrete Reinforcing > Wall/Panel Mesh
    • key in ProConcrete Add Mesh Wall
    The Mesh - Wall/Panel opens.
  2. Click the Select Concrete button.

    The dialog closes and you are prompted to select a wall or panel object.
  3. Select a wall or panel in your model.
  4. Click anywhere in the model away from a wall or panel to accept the selection. Right-click or press Return to accept the selection.
    The mesh is drawn and the Mesh - Wall/Panel dialog reopens.
  5. Click a point to set as the distribution point for the mesh.
    Select any vertex of the selected wall or panel.
    The mesh is drawn and the Mesh - Wall/Panel dialog reopens.
  6. Use the tabs on the dialog to set up mesh, options, and assignment information.
  7. Optional: Set the User Defined option for either face in order to define a custom mesh.
    The Mesh Definition dialog opens. Specify the mesh parameters and click OK to return to the Mesh - Wall/Panel dialog.
  8. Click OK.
