Panel - Edge Inserts tab
Used to add cast-in metal inserts to the top, left, and right edges of precast panels.
Note: Before you add edge
inserts, use standard tools to create a cell to represent your insert. Panel
tools will place the cell along your panel based on the settings you define.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Create | When checked, creates edge inserts. |
| Insert Face | Sets the selected edge along which to create inserts: Top, Bottom, or Both. |
| Horizontal | Sets the number of inserts along the top and/or bottom of the panel and the spacing distance between them. Enter spacing using the following convention: number of inserts * distance. For example, 2*1000 indicates two inserts spaced at 1000 mm. For details and examples, Understanding Spacings. |
| Insert Face | Sets the selected edge along which to create inserts: Left, Right, or Both. |
| Vertical | Sets the number of inserts along the left and/or right edge of the panel and the spacing distance between them. For details and examples, Understanding Spacings. |
| Cell Path | Indicates the selected cell path, set using the
browse button to a previously defined insert symbol.
