To create a parts database

  1. Click the Create Bar Bending Schedule Database button.
    The Create Bar Bending Schedule Database dialog opens.
  2. Select (Create Concrete Partlist Database)
    The Partlist Creation dialog opens.
  3. In the Elements area, check the elements that you want to add to the database.
  4. While the Create .MDB File is checked, click Browse to select parts list database. .
    The "Select Partlist File" dialog opens where a partlist file of Bill of Material is selected from the default path (..\Out\Partlist\Concrete) .
  5. Navigate in the dialog to select a path and enter a partlist filename (*.mdb) and Click Save.
  6. Click OK .
  7. On your model, select the bars that you want to add to the database, then press Enter.
    After the new database file is processed, the Bar Bending Schedule Report Process screen displays, listing the database you just created.
  8. Generate the report.
