To add a pad footing before placing a column

Select

(Create Pad Footing) to place a pad footing.

The Pad Footing dialog opens.

Set the Length ,Width, and Depth dimensions.

Set the X- and Y- Offsets for placement, if necessary.

Select

(Insert Footing by Point).

Click to place as many pad footings as you need.

Tip: At any point when you are placing elements, you can right click to re-display the dialog and make changes.

Click

OK to apply your settings and close the dialog.
