Insert 2D Cells into a Drawing Frame

  1. Create a drawing frame on which to place your details. The drawing frame is simply an empty sheet, typically with a border and title block.
    1. Select (Drawing Border). The Drawing Templates dialog opens.
    2. Click the node in the template tree and select a template of desired drawing format.
    3. Click (Load Template into Model space).
    The drawing frame displays in your workspace.
  2. Save the drawing frame.
  3. In the DetailCenter, click the Insert tab.
  4. In the Detail Directory area, select the folder that contains your detail cells.
    Detail cell objects display in the bottom pane.
  5. Right click on the object you want to place, and select Insert 2D.
  6. In your workspace, position the detailed cell in your frame drawing.
    Inserted objects display in green in the DetailCenter.
  7. Place additional detail cells.
