Use the DetailCenter Express Wizard to Create your 2D Drawings

Follow the steps of the wizard to to create your drawings.

Select the Detail center Express and follow the steps of the wizard to create your drawings.
  1. Select options.. ?the Starting page.
    Select one or more tasks that you would like DetailCenter Express to do for you.
  2. Click Next .
  3. Prepare Detailing.. page
    Select one or more tasks to perform before detailing.
  4. Assign detail styles.. page
    Assign detail styles to the desired single parts.
  5. Assign detail styles.. page
    Assign detail styles to group.
  6. Assign detail styles.. page
    Assign detail styles to assemblies.
  7. Assign detail styles.. page
    Assign detail styles to desired views.
  8. Link detail styles.. page
    Select additional requirements to link detail styles.
  9. Create single sheet 2D Detail drawing.. page
    Select one or more settings for your detail drawing output options.
  10. Dispatch settings single sheet.. page
    Select object types to insert into your details.
  11. Single sheet output.. page
    Specify paths for drawing border, mark number, and output file
  12. Single sheet ..drawing borders.. page
    Select a drawing frame (border) from the drop-down list
  13. Fill out Title block page
    Specify how you want the title block to be completed.
  14. Clean up detailing page
    Select options used to clean up your detail drawing.
  15. Click Execute
    Based on your wizard settings, the system automatically creates 2D drawing objects and places them in the specified drawing frames.
    • The detailed objects in the DetailCenter, Part tab now display green.
    • To display a 2D drawing, in the DetailCenter, Part tab right-click > Open 2D Drawing.
