Beam Reinforcing - Beam Info tab

Used to enter values that define a single reinforcement cage for a concrete beam.

Setting	Description
Left Beam	Opens the Left Beam dialog, which is used to select the beam to the “left” of the current beam for which you are defining reinforcement. This is used to detail reinforcement extending to this beam. Alternately, you can directly specify the X-Dist value.
Left X-Dist	Sets the distance between centerline of the left support and the face of the supporting member.
Right Beam	Opens the Right Beam dialog, which is used to select the beam to the “right” of the current beam for which you are defining reinforcement. This is used to detail reinforcement extending to this beam. Note: The Right Beam dialog is similar to the one above shown for Left Beam. Alternately, you can directly specify the X-Dist value.
Right X-Dist	Set the distance between centerline of the right support and the face of the supporting member.
	Used to select the concrete members for the beam, left supporting member, and right supporting member. The Left column, the beam and the Right Column, respectively.
Width / Depth / Left Support / Right Support / Clear Span / Grid to Grid	These dimensions are calculated from the referenced Left Beam, Left Support, Current Beam, Right Support, and Right Beam.
