Adding Setdown to Beams

Place your beam as described in Adding Beams and Columns to Your Work Frame (Adding Beams and Columns).

Follow the standard procedures to set up a beam.

  1. Select (Add Setdown). Click the Setdown option and type the depth of the setdown that you require.
    The Set Down dialog opens.
  2. Type a value in the Depth field.
  3. Click Select Element .
  4. Click (Select Concrete Beams to Create SetDown).
    The dialog closes momentarily, allowing you to select beams in the drawing view.
  5. On your model, click on the desired beam, then right click to accept.
  6. On you model, select the desired beam.
    The set down is added and the dialog reopens.
  7. Click OK to apply.
