To Enable Rebar in OpenBridge Modeler

Rebar is disabled by default. You can enable it by following the steps below.

Enable ProStructures both through the installer and OpenPlant Project Administrator.
Navigate to the following directory in a File Explorer window: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlant 2024\Configuration\WorkSpaces\OpenPlantExample\WorkSets\Metric\Standards\ProStructures
From this directory open the ProStructures_Common.cfg file in a Note Pad.
Search for _PS_ENABLE_REBAR. It is equal to 0 by default.

Set _PS_ENABLE_REBAR = 1 to enable Rebar.
Save the changes.
Launch OpenPlant Modeler and Activate ProStructures to use Rebar commands. (Without enabling Rebar, we can see the Rebar menu but cannot place them).

Note:

Setting the value at user level is not enough because the value must be equal to 1 when the workset configuration is parsed. That is done before parsing user preferences.

Alternatively, you can introduce _PS_ENABLE_REBAR=1 to OPMPS.cfg at the application level or start OPM with the -ws_PS_ENABLE_REBAR=1 flag.
