To place closure pours

To place closure pours between each of the cantilevers on a segmental bridge, use the following procedure.

You must have at least two balanced cantilever builds placed on your bridge unit.

The cast-in-place closures are used to tie two free cantilever ends together in the balanced cantilever construction method.

1. Either:
   • On the Home ribbon tab, select the Close tool in the Superstructure group
     
     
   • key in bmgeom segmental closebalance
2. In the Close Segmental Balanced tool settings dialog, type a value in the Max CIP Segment Length field.
3. In the view window, data point on the bridge alignment.

The closure pours are added to the balanced cantilever segmental construction.
