To place steel box girders/tubs

To place steel box girders/tubs on a beam layout use the following procedure.

You must have at least one beam layout added to your model.

  1. Either:
  2. On the Home ribbon tab, select the Place Steel Tubs tool in the Superstructure group, Or Key in BEMGEOM BEAM PLACETUBGIRDERS
  3. Bridge Type/Unit must be set to Beam Slab (Steel Girders) prior to Beam Layout definition.
  4. (Optional) Specify tool settings, including
    1. Option to Rotate girders
    2. End Cut Orientation, select Vertical or Normal
  5. In the view window, do the following
    1. Select an existing beam layout
    2. Data point to accept the selection
