To place excavation

1. Either:
   • On the Home ribbon tab, select the Place Excavation tool in the Substructure group
     
     
   • key in BMGEOM EXCAVATION EXCAVATIONVOLUME
2. In the Place Excavation tool settings dialog, select the Terrain Model to use.
