To set the active terrain

To set the active terrain model for use with the active bridge, use the following procedure.

If you created an active terrain model in your project file or if your project has multiple terrain models, you may need to set the terrain model as active for the active bridge.

1. Either:
   • On the Home ribbon tab, select the Terrain tool in the Bridge Setup group.
     
     
   • key in bmgeom dtm active
2. Data point on the terrain in the view window.

The selected terrain model is now the active terrain for the active bridge. Substructure elements which depend on the terrain will reference this model.
