Place Custom Abutment tool
Used to place custom abutment elements from a cell library on existing pier lines.
To place a custom abutment on existing pier lines, data point on supportlines to add them to the selection group. Reset to accept the selection set and the custom abutment objects are placed.
To place a cell as a custom abutment, use this option. The cells can be modeled by the user for re-use and come from any .cel file. Sample path C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenBridge Modeler CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\Imperial Standards\Standards\Template Library\PierCellLib.cel
Analytical Properties can also be specified for transfer to RM Bridge, LEAP Bridge Concrete, or LEAP Bridge Steel.

Active Angle | Type an angle to rotate the cell object in plan. | ||||||
X- / Y- / Z- Scale | Type scale factors in each of the three axes to stretch the cell in that direction. | ||||||
Horizontal Offset | Type an offset length along the supportline direction. | ||||||
Vertical Offset | Vertical Offset is measured from an imaginary line drawn connecting the bottom left and right key points of the deck. In the case there are beams and bearings, OpenBridge Modeler will automatically find the lowest bearing bottom point and measure the offset from it. | ||||||
SupportLine Offset | Type a offset value to place the pier away from the supportline. This direction is taken perpendicular to the supportline. | ||||||

Analytical Properties | Set this option to specify analytical values to
include for analysis data. Additional options for the following analytical
values are then enabled:

Material group | Select the material to use for object components by selecting the associated […] button and then selecting the material from the Material Library dialog. | ||||||
Build Order group | Assign a build order (ordinal integer) to each object component in this group to specify construction order. | ||||||
