Assigning Position Numbers

Note: This topic provides
instructions for assigning position numbers on a concrete model. Many other
options are available for structural steel.
Concrete Positioning Basics
The default structure of a positioning identifier for a concrete model is three numbers separated by a dash:
Concrete Element - Cage - Rebar
For example: 001-001-005 refers to rebar 005 in cage 001 in concrete member 001.
To number parts separately (create identifiers without the dashed number), run positioning on concrete, cages, and rebar independently rather than all in one step.
