Shear Studs Placement dialog
Used to place Shear Studs on steel beams. Opens when the Place Shear Studs tool is selected on the Superstructure ribbon tab in the Superstructure group and a steel beam group is selected.
Setting | Description |
Beams | A list of all the beams in the currently selected beam group. |
Template | Select from a list of Field Splices currently defined in the Field Splice Library |
Add | Select the Location Type, start Location or Ratio, End Location or Ratio and the Longitudinal and Transverse spacing of the shear studs, along with Type of Shear stud from library., and the number of shear studs in each transverse row. |
Remove | Click to remove the selected row from the table |
Remove All | Click to remove all rows from the table |
Copy | Opens the Copy Shear Studs Location dialog, which is used to copy the shear stud layout to other beams or spans |
Validate | Click to have the program validate if the current shear stud placement for the beam group contains any definition issues. |
Save | Click to save the current shear stud placement on the beam layout |
Cancel | Closes the dialog without saving the shear stud placement. |
