Macro Builder dialog

Used to build a macro string using the sequence and increments and drawing name/number prefix. Applicable to bar marks and style positioning for concrete, cages and rebar.

  • Dialog: Positionflags and Positioning > Concrete Positioning tab (Type: Macro) > Position Flag Styles tool icon > Positioning Macros > Build Macro

Macro Builder for Bar Factory Settings

SettingDescription
Sequence Number
  • Number of Digits – Sets the length of the numeric string of a macro.
  • Increment – Sets the incremental step value.
  • Preecing Zeros – When checked, the preceding zeros are taken in macro strings. Available in Macro Builder accessed via Bar factory.
Macro Displays the currently defined macro.
Example Displays the example of the macro with illustrated strings.
Without I,O

Available in Macro Builder accessed via Bar factory. When checked, add no I, O sequence.

Add Bar Size Adds bar size field to macro string, e.g. $(A)#$(S).
Add Bar Factory Alpha code Adds alpha code of bar factory to macro string.

Dialog Controls

Icon Description
OK Closes the dialog and save your changes.
Cancel Closes the dialog without saving changes.
Help Opens online help.
