Batch - Create Native Drawings

Used to process all drawings in a selected directory into native drawings as a batch to avoid the need to process drawings individually.

If you have to pass on 3D or 2D drawings, it is sometimes necessary they do not contain any OpenBridge Modeler objects.

The tool converts each object in the drawing into its original graphical elements so that any recipient of the output drawing files (.dgn) does not get Proxy error messages during loading.

CAUTION: When the tool is used, the information in the drawing is graphically maintained, but the complete OpenBridge Modeler intelligence of the component parts such as shape reference, logical links etc., is lost.

Backstage: File > Export > ProStructures File Types > Batch Native Drawing

Note: All drawings in the directory are processed automatically and the converted drawings are saved in another directory.

Setting	Description
Source Directory	Sets the directory containing the drawings you want to have converted automatically.
Target Directory	Sets the directory where you want to save all converted drawings. Note: The target directory may not be the same as the source directory nor a sub-folder of the source directory.
Compress Drawings	When checked, compresses each drawing before it is saved.
Recursive with sub directories	When checked, processes drawings in sub-folders of the Source Directory in addition.
OK	Closes the dialog and save your changes.
Cancel	Closes the dialog without saving changes.
Help	Opens online help.
Template	Saves and retrieve (Using Templates) settings to be used on other projects.
