To add pad footings under columns from the Work Frame dialog

  1. With your work frame drawn and columns placed, click the Elements tab on the Work Frame dialog.
  2. Click Create Pad Footings.
    Note: Create Pad Footings is disabled unless you have placed columns.
    The work frame image updates to display pad footings under each column on your work frame.
  3. Select the Foundations tab.
  4. Adjust the size and material, and set the location for the top of the pads.
