Dual Gusset Connection

Setting	Description
Plate	Thickness – Sets the thickness of the gusset plate. Length – Sets the length of the gusset plate. Width – Sets the width of the gusset plate. Plane Tolerance – Sets the tolerance when determining members on the same plane. Beam Gap – Sets the gap distance between gusset plate and the beam. Use Beam 1 End Point / Beam 2 End Point – When checked, sets the end point of beam 1 / beam 2 to be the work point for placing the gusset plate.
Inner Corners	Rise and Run settings for inner corners of the plate. Rise / Run – Sets the rise and run for the inner corner of the gusset plate.
Outer Corners	Rise and Run settings for outer corners. Rise / Run – Sets the rise and run for the outer corner of the gusset plate.
Bolts	Bolt Type – Sets the bolt style from the drop-down list. Dia. – Sets the hole diameter of the selected bolt from the drop-down list of bolt diameter table. Workloose – Sets the clearance between bolt and hole diameter. Additional Length – Sets additional length to the bolts extension outside the nut. Material – Sets the bolt material, selected from the predefined material list. Weld – When checked, the shapes are welded instead of holes drilled. Note: When set to Weld, disables the Bolts and Spacing settings. Turn – When checked, the bolt direction is inverted. Available when not welded.
Brace by Number	Selects the brace according to the index number.
Beam Offset	Sets the brace offset from the intersecting beam.
Longitudinal Spacing	Number – Sets the number of bolts to be placed on the X axis. Slot Length – Sets the slot length. Edge Distance (w1) – Sets the distance from the starting edge to the center of the first bolt. Edge Distance (w2) – Sets the distance from the ending edge to the center of the first bolt. Distance Btw. (w3) – Sets the distance between the center of the bolts.
Transverse Spacing	Number of Bolts – Sets the number of bolts to be placed on the Y axis. Edge Distance (e1) – Sets both edge distances. Distance Btw. (e2) – Sets the distance between the center of the bolts. Middle Gauge – Sets the distance between the middle bolts. Even number of bolts required.
