Hole Display Styles - Layout tab

The Hole Display Style describes the display of a drill hole dependent on the view direction, the hole type and the corresponding diameter – a symbolic and non-true scale display can be realized as well. The actual display in the drawing is determined by cells to be assigned to.

Hole Display Style Indicates the currently selected hole display style.
Vertical Holes Display Style Settings Opens the Hole Display Style Settings dialog for vertical holes, where selected hole display style is edited independently for plan view and view on a hole. Then, a list appears with the assignments of diameters to display.
Parallel Holes Display Style Settings The selected hole display style is edited independently for plan view and view on a hole. Then, a list appears with the assignments of diameters to display.
Import cells Imports the defined cells for the current hole display style into the drawing.
Cell Path The path where the symbol cells for hole display have been stored. Browse to select the path.
Bitmap A bitmap symbol, which facilitates the recognition of the corresponding style in the selection list. Browse to select the path.
Store Settings Saves the current definition in the drawing and in a file; when you modify the style and you leave the page without saving, you are asked whether you want to save the modifications.
Load Settings Permits loading the current style definition from a style file; all current definitions of the current style will be overwritten.

Hole Display Style Settings dialog

Append style Adds a new entry at the end of the list that can be processed. The Hole Display Style dialog opens where a hole style entry is processed.
Here, you assign the different cells for each diameter range that have to be used for visible and hidden holes. Each kind of hole can have its own variant.
  • Min Dia – The minimum diameter from which on the selected display will be used.
  • Max Dia – The maximum diameter up to which the selected display will be used.
  • Visible Holes – Here, you select the cell to be used for displaying the different hole types Normal, Countersunk, Step and Threaded Hole if the hole is a visible hole in the drawing.
  • Hidden Holes – You select the cell to be used for displaying the different hole types Normal, Countersunk, Step and Threaded Hole if the hole is a hidden hole in the drawing.
Edit current style entry The current data record is edited. Then a dialog opens to select the cells for the different hole types.
Delete current style Removes the selected entry from the list.
