To add a strip footing from the Work Frame dialog

  1. With your work frame drawn and columns placed, click the Elements tab on the Work Frame dialog.
  2. Click Create Pad Footings. The work frame image updates to display the strip footing around the perimeter of your work frame.
  3. Select the Foundations tab.
  4. Adjust the size and material, and set the location for the top of the footing.
