Standard Handrail - Filler Rod tab

SettingDescription
Min. Post Space Btwn Sets the minimum post spacing distance between which filler rod should be included. Post spacings less that this value will not have filler rods inserted between them.
Edge Distance Sets the distance from the post to the first filler rod.
Distance Between Sets the center-to-center distance between adjacent filler rods.
Top Offset Sets the start offset for the filler rod.
Bottom Offset Sets the end offset for the filler rod
Side Offset Sets the side offset for the filler rod.
Insert Position Sets the position of filler rod placement with respect to the horizontal rails:
  • Back
  • Center
  • Front
Insert From / Insert To Sets the element selected for the horizontal rail shapes for the top and bottom of the filler rod ends.
Cut At Select the location in the Insert From and Insert To shapes at which the filler rod edge is cut:
  • Outer Edge
  • Inner Edge
  • Center
Collision Type Sets the method used for collision type when a filler rod collides with a horizontal rail:
  • Ignore – Makes no change to either the filler rods or the horizontal rails.
  • Divide – Cuts the filler rods shapes above and below the horizontal rails.
  • Drill Through – Removes the holes from the horizontal rail element to accommodate the filler rods.
  • Boolean operation – Makes boolean operations to the filler rod and not to the rails.
  • Divide and boolean operation – Performs the divide operation and processes any single rod with a boolean operation to the rails (modifying the rods).
Drill Clearance Enabled for Drill Through and Booleans ops collision type. Sets the side offset clearance for the filler rods.
Straight Cut at Edge Set this option to specify a straight cut at collision ends of a filler rod (or filler rod segment in the case of dividing at a horizontal rail collision).
