Standard Display Styles

Following is the list of standard display styles along with their render modes (Display drop-down). These display styles are always available for selection — you cannot delete them:

  • Back — Wireframe
  • Color Cut — Filled Visible Edges
  • Color Section — Filled Visible Edges
  • Cut — Filled Visible Edges
  • Elevation Forward — Visible Edges
  • Filled Hidden Line — Filled Visible Edges
  • Filled Hidden Line: Modeling — Filled Visible Edges
  • Filled Hidden Line: Realistic — Filled Visible Edges
  • Filled Hidden Line: Sky Sphere — Filled Visible Edges
  • Forward — Visible Edges
  • Forward W/HIDDEN GEOM — Shaded
  • Hidden Line — Visible Edges
  • Hidden Line: Modeling — Visible Edges
  • Hidden Line: Realistic — Visible Edges
  • Hidden Line: Sky Sphere — Visible Edges
  • House Forward — Visible Edges
  • Illustration — Shaded
  • Illustration: Ignore Lighting — Shaded

Note: In general, smooth display styles are the fastest to display, followed by illustration, hidden line and then wireframe.
