NC Data - Data - Marking Attached Part tab

Used to set the attached part marking and drawing options on a member profile.

Note: The Marking Attached Part settings are disabled For Zeman Assembler output type, as it doesn't requires preparing and writing scribing data output.

Attached Parts Data settings are used to mark attached parts data.

Mark Attached Parts When checked (default), enables the controls within this group used for tolerances, drawing, and marking options.

When checked, the attached part marking data is not written to the output file

Draw Options Used to select the way the attached part boundary is to be marked on the main part.
  • Draw profile boundary — Marks the actual boundary of attached part profile on the main part
  • Draw boundary rectangle — Marks the outer boundary rectangle of attached part profile on the main part

Default value: Draw profile boundary

Marking options Used to select the method of marking the attached part profile.
  • Mark by powder (PU) — When checked, marks the attached part profile on the main part by powdering. Default: Unchecked.
  • Mark by scribing (KO) — When checked, marks the attached part profile on the main part by scribing or punching. Default: Checked
Tolerances Sets maximum allowable gap and clash between main part and attached part.
  • Ignore gap up to — If the gap between the main part and the attached part is less than or equal to the set value, then the part will be considered as attached par for output file generation.

Default value: 1/16" (Imperial Units), 2mm (Metric units)

Write Attached Part Information When checked (default), the attached part Information (as labeled using the Text field) is written on the main part and text height.
Text Shows an expression for the attached part name to be written to the output file. You can change the expression by using the expression builder.

Default value: %Attached Part Position Number%

Text height The text height of the attached part name written on the main part.

Default value: 1/4" (Imperial Units), 5mm (Metric units)
