To update parts with attributes assigned to the part family:

  1. On the Part Family screen, click to select the part family you want to update.
  2. Click the desired Update Parts tool:

    Update Assignments for Single Parts

    or

    Update Assignments for Part Groups

    or

    Update Assignments for Single Parts and Groups

  3. On your model, click to select the parts to be updated from the part family.
  4. Click OK .
