As it is the case with each dialog creating component parts, here too it is possible to carry out all assignments directly for each single shape. Select the component part and then select the settings.

For Cross Bolting, on one hand, Material and Detail style cannot be assigned through the connection for bolts, however, they can be assigned to shims. On the other hand, Display and Area classes, Part family, Description, Level/Layer, and Item number can be assigned to either bolts or shims.

Changing any assignment property from the Assignment tab, will change the values in Structural Properties.

Changing material and detail style from Structural Properties will change the values in the assignment tab for the bolts only, but any other changes to either bolts or shims will not be shown in the assignment tab.
