Imparts one element's characteristics to another.

You can access this tool from the following:

1. Equip the Element Selection tool then left-click on the element to which you wish to give a feature definition.

   

2. Open the Civil Tools task pane to the General Geometry section then click the Match Feature Definition icon.

   

3. When you move the cursor into the View, it is equipped with a tooltip that prompts you to "Locate Element", so move the cursor to the element with the feature definition that you wish to match then left-click. The feature definition assigned to the picked element is populated in the Features Definition Toggle Bar for subsequent use in any command.
