Plate Dispatch - Main tab

Used to set type, dimensions and bolt details of an extended truss.

Platform can be in any plane (sloping), i.e. for ramps, roof, so it could be aligned to a user ECS / UCS and not to the world ECX / UCS.

The example of possible result of using the Platform tool:
SettingDescription
Add to Selection Set A Allows selecting all beams in graphical view to be added to "Set A" (follow prompts).

Beams selected to the "Set A" are treated separately from the beams in a "Set B". Different offsets can be applied for the plates and for the bolts mounted on a "Set A". For example, "Set A" can collect primary beams of the platform, or beams with the same section profiles.

Add to Selection Set B Allows selecting all beams in graphical view to be added to "Set B" (follow prompts).

Beams selected to the "Set B" are treated separately from the beams in a "Set A". Different offsets can be applied for the plates and for the bolts mounted on a "Set B". For example, "Set B" can collect secondary beams, or beams, that have different from "Set A" section profiles.

Coping Tolerance Sets the tolerance for the length of the gap between two interconnecting beams.
Note:
  • Beams added to the Set A are highlighted in Red color, beams added to the Set B are highlighted in Yellowish Green color.
  • If required, all beams may be selected to the single set (e.g. to "Set A", leaving "Set B" empty) - in such case all the beams will be treated correspondingly to the modifications of the particular set.
  • If required, beams can be moved from "Set A" to "Set B" by reselecting respective beams after clicking the appropriate button (either Add to Selection Set A, or Add to Selection Set B).
  • Clicking on already selected beam second time removes beam from the Selection Set.
Once both or single set is completed, move to the Plates tab. Plates will be added instantly. The tool prompts for any empty sets before moving to Plates tab.
