SettingDescription
Panel Dimensions
Dimension fields which are active for editing depend on placement options.
  • Width – Width dimension of your precast panel. Enabled while Dynamic Width is unchecked.
  • Height – Height dimension of your precast panel.
  • Thickness – Thickness (depth) dimension of your precast panel.
Options
  • Offset Distance – Required offset distance from the insertion point.
  • Offset Position – Select the position by which to place the panel: Left, Middle, or Right.
  • Panel Overlap Type – Select the method of joining adjacent panels.
    • Overlap mode - Adjacent edges are stopped at the point of intersection.
    • Cut Mode - Adjacent edges are cut (mitered) at an angle so they come to a point.
  • Width Adjustment – Sets panel horizontal position; Right, Left or Centered.
Dynamic Width When checked, sets the panel width based on the length of the line or smartline segments used for placing. This overrides the Width dimension.
Reverse Poly When checked, changes the selection of which wall segment is stopped at the intersection point for walls added on a smartline using Overlap Mode..
Single Precast Panel Placement Options
  • Create Panel With Specified Points – Places the panel based on two points that you click.
  • Create Panel With a Line – Places the panel along a line.
  • Create Panel With a smartline – Places a panel along each segment of a smartline.
  • Insert panels by specified points – Used to select points in the same plane to create multiple panels. Three or more points must be selected (i.e., two or more panels will be created using this method).
Note: If a point lying outside of the plane is selected, a point on a projection to the current UCS XY plane is used.
  • Flip overlap between panels – Flips the overlap pattern between two connected panels under multiple generate mode.
