Item Types in ProConcrete Reports

The image below illustrates how an Item Type and an Item value are mapped to a ProConcrete report.

An example of Item type mapped with Report for ProConcrete

Note: The examples in this document show one item attached to a ProConcrete object to simplify the images and the explanations. More than one item can be attached to ProConcrete object if the Items are different Item Types. The respective ProConcrete partlist database and corresponding reporting tool of that discipline support it.

The Item Type names are mapped to a List & Label field name (purple and orange) which can be referenced in a List & Label report template (green). When the report is generated, the field name is used to get the Item value (red) for the part.

Item Types in viewRebarPartlistDetail - Item values for both concrete objects and bars are available in a report created from the detailed rebar view (viewRebarPartlistDetail). Names of Item Types attached to bars are prefixed with "Bar" in the List & Label fields to differentiate them from Item Types attached to concrete objects.

By default, bars are grouped for ProConcrete reports considering all Item values. This grouping is shown in the Partlist Print dialog in the listbox on the right. When a report does not report all Item values, the bars are regrouped considering just the reported Item values (if any).

Note: The Configuration variable PS_DISABLE_PARTLISTITEMTYPE when set it to 1 (or true or on) will NOT add the Item Type information to a partlist database and/or ignore Item Type information in a partlist database when generating a report.

Report Examples

The following two reports are for the bars in four pad footings of the same size with the same reinforcement. The difference is that the bars in one footing have a different pour ID. The first report includes the PourId value; the second does not.

Note: Here two rows have been combined into a single row.
Note: the rows in the second report for the shorter C6x8.2 parts.
