natively in OBM is the shear stud.

Description

| Add Shear Studs
|
Press the folder icon to create a new shear
connector. When the edit box appears in the shear connector list, accept the
default name or enter a new name then hit the Enter key.

| Delete Shear Studs
|
Delete a shear connector by highlighting the
name in the list and press the Delete (X) button.

|
The following information defines a shear
stud connector

Enter a name for the Shear Stud
being input

| Total Height
|
Enter the height of the shear
connector in inches.

| Stud Diameter
|
Enter the shaft diameter of the
shear connector in inches.

| Head Height
|
Enter the thickness of the head of
the stud in inches.
|
| Head Diameter
|
Enter the diameter of the head of
the shear stud in inches.
|
| Material
|
Select the material to be used from
the drop-down list. The materials are those shown in the material table for the
Steel sections.

| Save
|
Press this button to save all changes and
exit the dialog.
|
| Cancel
|
Press this button to exit the dialog without
saving changes.
