To execute the clash detection

The key-in CLASHDETECTION PROCESS <job name> allows you run a clash detection job and save the results without opening the Clash Detection dialog.

  1. In the Clash Detection dialog job list, select the job for which you want to run the clash detection.
  2. Determine that all criteria for the clash detection is selected.
  3. Check that all desired suppression rules are on.
  4. Click Process. A progress bar tracks the progress of the clash detection operation. When finished, the results display in the Results tab and the view window displays the first clash in the list.

    The Message Center also displays the number of clashes found.
