To place a bridge unit in the currently active bridge,
use the following procedure.
You must have at
least one bridge in your current model.
Note: An
OpenBridge Modeler project can contain
multiple bridges and each bridge can have multiple units.

Either:
on the
Home ribbon tab, select the
Add tool in the
Bridge Setup group
or
key in
bmgeom
bridgeunit
add
- (Optional)
Type a Unit
Name and
Description.
Tip: The
unit
Name value will be automatically generated
for you.

Select the
Bridge Type to use from the drop-down list:
- Beam Slab (P/S or RC
Concrete Girders)
- Beam Slab (Steel
Girders)
- RC Slab
- CIP Concrete Box
- Segmental

Select
Start or
End from the
Location drop-down list.

Data point in a view window.
The unit is added to
the active bridge. The unit details can be seen in the
Project Explorer dialog on the
Bridge Data tab.
Tip: The
bridge unit is not graphically represented without pierlines.
