When any substructure component is placed, line work representing the footing, column, cap and pile outlines are automatically drawn at elevation 0 along with all other bridge line work (deck, beam lines, support lines etc.). If battered/inclined piles are modeled, the top of the pile cross section is drawn, and an arrow showing the direction in which the pile is sloped is also drawn. This functionality also works for custom abutment or custom piers (functional components), provided the piles and footings have been tagged.
