To add parts to a part family

  1. On the Part Family screen, click to select the part family you want to update.
  2. Click the desired Add Parts tool:

    Add Single Part to Family Class

    or

    Add Part Groups to Family Class

    or

    Add Single Parts and Groups to Family Class

  3. On your model, click to select the parts (and/or groups) to be added to the part family.
  4. Click OK .
