Shear Plate Connection – Cope / Stiffener tab

In addition, you can notch the connecting shape. Enter the corresponding specifications in this dialog.

You can either select an already stored notch variant or you enter the data directly.

Cope and Cut

Setting	Description
Cope	When checked, enables selecting from available cope templates. When unchecked, enables cope settings.
(Edit Cope)	Opens the Cope dialog, where the notch settings are manipulated.
Cope Connection Shape	When checked, copes the connection shape if it collides with the angle. Specifies how the connecting shape has to be notched. You can select Upper Side, Lower Side or Both. Top double sided – Cope the connection shape on both sides on top, even if only one side collides. Bottom double sided – Cope the connection shape on both sides below, even if only one side collides.
Cope Connection shape Straight	When checked, cuts the connection shape at 90° to its length.
Gap	Sets the free cut gap distance of the cope in the connection shape to the shear plate.

Stiffener

Setting	Description
Thickness	The thickness gets specified as you select the Template.
Template	Select stiffener connection template for the supporting shape.
Edit Stiffener Template	Acts as Endplate Connections, you can also edit the stiffener template.
