NC Data - Customize tab

Used to customize cut, shape and plate data to output.
SettingDescription
3D Cuts Custom options related to 3D cuts and external contour.
Write 3D cuts (SC) as external contour (AK) When checked (default), 3D cuts (SC) are written as external contour (AK) to the output file.
Write both 3D cuts (SC) and external contour (AK) When checked, then both 3D cuts (SC) and external contour (AK) are written to the output file.
Shapes / Plates Custom options related to shapes and plates.
Force external contour for all shapes When checked, generates external contours in the output file for all shapes (i.e., always added to the output file as an AK block).

Default value: checked.

Add edge preparation When checked, considers edge preparation in output file for plates.

Default value: checked.

Write Pipe a unfolded plate (B Profile) When checked, sets the solid round or pipe as B profile shape. The pipe data is written as unfolded plate (B profile) to the output file. Enables controls for Number of Segment.. for unfolded pipe as per machine least count.
Number of Segments for unfolded pipe / rod .. Sets the multiplication factor for segmentation of round profiles. This is the factor of Pipe / Rod diameter. Text box value limited between natural numbers 1 to 10 as more number of segments lesser will be the system performance. i.e. If a pipe has diameter 4" and segmentation factor is "4" then it will be read as 4 X 25.4 (conversion from inches to mm) X 4 (user input).

Default value: 1.

Note: The number should be between 1-10, and a natural number; values > 4 will increase processing time.
Others Custom options for other features.
Maximum hole diameter Sets the maximum hole diameter to be reported as drilled. Any hole diameter that exceeds this value will be reported as an inner contour.

Default value: 4" (Imperial units), 100mm (Metric units)

Write inclined hole data When checked, the inclined hold data is written to the output file.
Make straight end as start When checked, uses the straight end as the start end while creating the output file.
Units group Units to be considered while generating the output file
  • Millimeter — Default output file units, in mm.
  • Inch — Sets output file units as Inch.
Precision Sets the number of decimal points to use for precision to be used in generating the output file.

Default value: 2.

Reset All Resets all control to default values (i.e., according to DSTV specification).
