To remove parts from a part family

  1. On the Part Family screen, click to select the part family you want to remove parts from.
  2. Click the desired Remove Parts tool:

    Remove Single Part From Family Class

    or

    Remove Part Groups From Family Class

    or

    Remove Single Parts and Groups From Family Class

  3. On your model, click to select the parts (and/or groups) to be removed from the part family.
  4. Click OK .
